Anti-Idiotypic Antibody

Anti idiotypic antibody is a highly specific antibody prepared against the variable region specific epitope of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies. This type of antibody can recognize and bind to the antigen binding site or adjacent structural regions of drug antibodies. Anti idiotypic antibodies are commonly used in the development process of biosimilars and biologics, including the establishment of pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) methods, quantitative detection of target drugs, immunogenicity evaluation (ADA/neutralizing antibody analysis), etc.
