Chromogenic Dyes

Chromogenic Dyes are a class of detection reagents that generate colored products through specific chemical reactions or intermolecular interactions. Their color development mechanism does not rely on enzyme catalysis, pH changes, or excitation light. Instead, they produce stable colored products with characteristic absorption spectra but no fluorescence properties through chemical reactions. These dyes are suitable for absorbance measurements or visual/microscopic color observation.
