FMO

Flavin-containing monooxygenase (FMO) is a class of monooxygenases and enzymes involved in oxidative metabolism, comprising members such as FMO1–5. FMOs catalyse NADPH-dependent monooxygenation reactions of soft nucleophilic nitrogen, sulphur, and phosphorus atoms, participating in the oxidative metabolism of exogenous compounds and several endogenous small molecules.

H-Met-Val-OH
T8219014486-13-6
H-Met-Val-OH is a dipeptide composed of an N-terminal methionine and a C-terminal valine residue that demonstrates inhibitory effects on recombinant flavin-containing monooxygenases FMO1 and FMO3. H-Met-Val-OH also shows potential in promoting neurite outgrowth, suggesting its relevance in neuroregenerative and enzymatic modulation studies involving FMO-catalyzed metabolic pathways.
