gp130/IL6ST Protein, Human, Recombinant (His)
IL6ST, IL-6R-β, IL-6R-beta, IL-6RB, IL-6 R β, IL-6 R beta, gp130 CD130 IL-6 R β, gp130, CDw130, CD130
TMPK-00412
gp130 is a common signal transducing component of the functional receptor complexes for the interleukin (IL)-6 family of cytokines, ie, IL-6, IL-11, leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF), oncostatin M, ciliary neurotrophic factor, and cardiotrophin-1. These cytokines exhibit pleiotropic biological activities in, for instance, immune, hematopoietic, and neural systems, and function in a redundant manner owing to the shared usage of gp130. gp130 IL6ST Protein, Human, Recombinant (His) is expressed in HEK293 mammalian cells with C-His tag. The predicted molecular weight is 68.94 kDa and the accession number is P40189-1.

CT-1 Protein, Human, Recombinant (His)
CTF1, CT-1, Cardiotrophin-1
TMPJ-00086
Cardiotrophin-1, also known as CT-1 and CTF1, is a member of the IL-6 superfamily. It is a sreted cytokine that is expressed in heart, skeletal muscle, prostate and ovary, and to lower levels in lung, kidney, pancreas, thymus, testis and small intestine. The protein exerts its cellular effects by interacting with the glycoprotein 130 (gp130) leukemia inhibitory factor receptor beta (LIFR) heterodimer. In addition, CT-1 activates phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI-3 kinase) in cardiac myocytes and enhances transcription factor NF-κB DNA -binding activities.

Oncostatin M/OSM Protein, Human, Recombinant (E. coli, His)
OSM, Oncostatin-M
TMPJ-01467
Oncostatin M (OSM) is a glycoprotein belonging to the interleukin-6 family of cytokines that includes leukemia-inhibitory factor, granulocyte colony-stimulating factor, and interleukin 6. OSM encodes a growth regulator, which Inhibits the proliferation of a number of tumor cell lines. It stimulates proliferation of AIDS-KS cells. OSM regulates cytokine production, including IL-6, G-CSF and GM-CSF from endothelial cells. OSM is considered as a pleiotropic cytokine that initiates its biological activities through specific cell surface receptors. The low affinity LIF receptor that shares the similarity of containing protein gp130 has now been identified to be a component of a high- affinity OSM receptor that will transduce OSM signals. OSM has also been shown to play a role in both pro and anti-inflammatory actions. OSM may also be involved in many biometabolism processes including liver development, haematopoeisis, inflammation, bone formation and destruction and possibly CNS development.
