Cy2 (CY2 Non-Sulfonated) is a cyanine dye with long wavelength, tunable absorption and emission, high extinction coefficient and good water solubility. Cy2 can be used to label amino groups in oligonucleotides, peptides, and proteins.

Cy2 DiC18, a member of the cyanine dye series, is a widely used fluorescent marker for biomolecules that can interact with biomolecules. Cyanine dyes may also bind to double-helical DNA through intercalation and exhibit enhanced fluorescence upon binding.

BODIPY FL-X,SE, a green fluorescent dye designed for amine labeling, exhibits a high fluorescence quantum yield with minimal sensitivity to pH variations. It serves as a viable alternative to FAM, Cy2, or FITC. The dye's absorption and emission wavelengths are 504 nm (λ abs) and 510 nm (λ em), respectively.
