Luciferase

Luciferase is a key enzyme used in bioluminescent imaging, which can catalyze the oxidation reaction of the substrate luciferin to generate light signals. Through genetic engineering technology, luciferase is introduced into cells or organisms to monitor biological processes such as gene expression, protein interaction and tumor growth in real time. Its high sensitivity and low background signal make it an important tool for in vivo imaging, drug screening and disease research.
