RFRP-3 (Neuropeptide VF(124-131))(human) TFA, a human homolog of the GnIH peptide, significantly suppresses gonadotropin release through inhibition of Ca2+ mobilization. Acting as an NPFF1 receptor agonist, RFRP-3 (human) also blocks forskolin-stimulated cAMP production with an inhibition concentration (IC50) of 0.7 nM [1].

RFRP-3 (rat), a neuropeptide, suppresses gonadotropin release and consequently elevates ghrelin mRNA and circulating growth hormone concentrations [1].

Agonist of the NPFF1 receptor (IC50 = 0.7 nM for inhibition of forskolin-induced cAMP production). Homolog of gonadotropin-inhibitory hormone (GnIH); inhibits activity of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) neurons.

RFRP-3, mouse is a functional analog of avian Gonadotropin-Inhibitory Hormone (GnIH) that binds to GPR147. It reduces progesterone synthesis by inhibiting FSHR and key steroidogenic enzymes (P450scc, 3β-HSD, StAR). RFRP-3, mouse induces apoptosis by increasing p53 and can inhibit the ERK signaling pathway. Additionally, RFRP-3 is applicable in follicle development research.

RFRP-3(human) acetate, a human GnIH peptide homolog, is a potent inhibitor of gonadotropin secretion by inhibiting Ca2+ mobilization. RFRP-3(human) acetate is a NPFF1 receptor agonist, it inhibits forskolin-induced production of cAMP with an IC50 of 0.7 n
