Fervenulin is isolated from a nematicidal actinomycete Streptomyces sp. CMU-MH021 with nematicidal activity. It also inhibits egg hatch and J2 mortality of M. incognita (MICs: 30 μg mL and 120 μg mL, respectively).

Fluindapyr is a broad-spectrum, chiral pyrazoleamide fungicide classified as a succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor (SDHIs). It exhibits a wide range of fungicidal activities and demonstrates effective results. In vitro studies show that Fluindapyr is effective against M. incognita, and its application in cucumbers has been shown to promote growth.

Isoschaftoside is used as an intercrop due to its allelopathic inhibition of parasitism by Striga hermonthica, an obligate parasitic weed that can devastate the maize crop. Isoschaftoside has anti-tumor, antioxidant, and antimicrobial activities, it also possesses strong nematicidal activity against M. incognita.
