RY796 is a selective voltage-gated potassium (KV2) channel inhibitor that inhibits KV2.1 and KV2.2, used in research on neurological disorders.

Kv2.1-IN-1 (compound 80) effectively inhibits the Kv2.1 ion channel, exhibiting a potent IC50 of 0.07 μM and demonstrating over 130-fold selectivity against other K+, Na+, and Ca2+ channels [1].

Jingzhaotoxin-IX is a C-terminally amidated peptide neurotoxin consisting of 35 amino acid residues. It inhibits both tetrodotoxin-resistant and tetrodotoxin-sensitive isoforms of voltage-gated sodium channels, as well as the Kv2.1 channel. However, Jingzhaotoxin-IX does not affect the delayed rectifier potassium channels Kv1.1, Kv1.2, and Kv1.3 [1].

Kv2-IN-A1 is an inhibitor of Kv2.1 and Kv2.2.

Guangxitoxin 1E acts as a gating modifier since it shifts the voltage-dependence of Kv2.1 K+ currents towards depolarized potentials.

Selective CaV3.1 channel blocker (IC50 values are 0.2 and 31.8 μM for hCaV3.1 and hCaV3.2 respectively). Also reversibly inhibits NaV1.8 and blocks KV2.1 channels.
