Reboxetine (Norebox) is an antidepressant drug used in the treatment of clinical depression, panic disorder and ADD ADHD. Its mesylate (i.e. methanesulfonate) salt is sold under trade names including Edronax, Norebox, Prolift, Solvex, Davedax or Vestra. Reboxetine has two chiral centers, but it only exists as two enantiomers, (R, R)-(-)- and (S, S)-(+)-reboxetine.

Reboxetine mesylate (FCE20124 mesylate) is a norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor with a Ki of 8.2 nM.

(R,R)-Reboxetine mesylate, an antidepressant agent, exhibits high bioavailability and is the (R,R) enantiomer of Reboxetine, a selective noradrenaline reuptake inhibitor. Contrasting its counterpart, the (S,S) enantiomer, this compound demonstrates low affinity for alpha-adrenergic and muscarinic receptors, alongside low toxicity in animals.
