HEPES is a zwitterionic sulfonic acid buffering agent, commonly used to uphold a neutral pH of basal medium within cell cultures.HEPES is a potent inducer of lysosome biogenesis.

HEPES Sodium salt is a nonvolatile zwitterionic chemical buffering agent. HEPES Sodium salt is broadly applied in cell culture. HEPES Sodium salt is effective at pH 6.8 to 8.2. HEPES Sodium salt also induces of lysosome biogenesis.

The buffer composed of 20 mM HEPES, 150 mM NaCl, and 240 mM sucrose, with a pH of 7.2, is a commonly used antibody storage solution.

HEPES Solution (1M, Sterile) is a highly effective biological buffer with a pKa of approximately 7.5 and a buffering range of pH 6.8–8.2. HEPES Solution (1M, Sterile) is widely used in cell culture to maintain stable pH in culture media, particularly in environments where CO₂ concentration is difficult to precisely control. HEPES Solution (1M, Sterile) ensures cells maintain stable growth under near-physiological conditions and minimizes experimental interference caused by pH fluctuations.
