Cinobufaginol exhibits significant cytotoxicity against various tumor cell lines, with IC₅₀ values of 803 μM and 1.270 μM for the human nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell lines CNE-1 and CNE-2Z, respectively. In tests against various cancer cell lines, including A549 (lung cancer), HCT-116 (colon cancer), and SKOV3 (ovarian cancer), the IC₅₀ values for cinobufaginol were all below 2.17 μM.
