Plerixafor is a bicyclam with hematopoietic stem cell-mobilizing activity.

It serves as an immunostimulant and a hematopoietic stem cell mobilizer, and it also functions as an allosteric agonist of CXCR7. Plerixafor (T1776) inhibits the replication of HIV-1 and HIV-2 with an EC50 of 1-10 nM.
