Anti bacterial agent 241 functions as a histidine kinase (HK) inhibitor, exhibiting IC50 values of 14 µM for CckA and 238 µM for PhoQ. It demonstrates moderate antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli DC2, Crescentia crescentus, and Bacillus subtilis, with minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC) ranging from 12 to 74 µg mL.
