Phosphorylcholine chloride calcium salt tetrahydrate
Phosphocholine chloride calcium salt tet, CalciuM Phosphorylcholine Tetrahydrate
T471372556-74-2
Phosphorylcholine chloride calcium salt tetrahydrate (Phosphocholine chloride calcium salt tet) is a small haptenic molecule, is found in a wide variety of organisms. Human hepatic tumors undergo an elevation in the concentration of phosphorylcholine as the principal metabolic change is observed (PMID: 11076016 ). Phosphorylcholine chloride calcium salt tetrahydrate is the precursor metabolite of choline in the glycine, serine and threonine metabolism pathways (KEGG, map00260) and in intermediate between choline and cytidine-diphosphate choline in the glycerophospholipid metabolism pathway (KEGG, map00564).

Amiloride hydrochloride dihydrate
MK-870 hydrochloride dihydrate, Amiloride HCl dihydrate
T0175L17440-83-4
Amiloride hydrochloride dihydrate (Amiloride HCl dihydrate) is a pyrazine compound inhibiting SODIUM reabsorption through SODIUM CHANNELS in renal EPITHELIAL CELLS. This inhibition creates a negative potential in the luminal membranes of principal cells, located in the distal convoluted tubule and collecting duct. Negative potential reduces secretion of potassium and hydrogen ions. Amiloride hydrochloride dihydrate is used in conjunction with DIURETICS to spare POTASSIUM loss.

Varenicline Hydrochloride
CP526555 hydrochloride, CP 526555 hydrochloride
T23502230615-23-3
Varenicline Hydrochloride (CP 526555) is an orally active partial agonist of the α4β2 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (α4β2 nAChR, IC50 = 250 nM), which is recognized as the principal mediator of nicotine dependence, and its pharmacological effect is critical in modulating addictive behaviors associated with nicotine exposure. Varenicline Hydrochloride (CP 526555) blocks the direct agonist effects of nicotine on nicotinic acetylcholine receptors while simultaneously stimulating these receptors in a more moderate and controlled manner, making it a widely used research compound in smoking cessation.

Ceramide Phosphoethanolamines (bovine)
T36188
Ceramide phosphoethanolamine (CPE) is an analog of sphingomyelin that contains ethanolamine rather than choline as the head group. It is the principal membrane phospholipid in invertebrates such as Drosophila, which lacks sphingomyelin. It is only produced in small amounts in mammalian cells, accounting for approximately 0.02 mol% of total phospholipids in mouse testis and brain. In Drosophila, CPE is biosynthesized by CPE synthase from ceramide and cytidine diphosphate-ethanolamine in the Golgi lumen. In mammals, it is biosynthesized by sphingomyelin synthase 2 (SMS2) in the plasma membrane and by sphingomyelin synthase-related protein (SMSr) in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). In Drosophila, CPE has a role in glial ensheathment of axons. Disrupting CPE synthesis by depleting SMSr in vitro in mammalian cells leads to an accumulation of ER ceramides, which are then mislocalized to the mitochondria, inducing apoptosis. However, ceramide levels are not altered in transgenic mice lacking SMSr catalytic activity. CPEs (bovine) is a mixture of CPEs with variable N-acyl chain lengths.
