Thiol

Thiol dyes are a class of chemical reagents that react specifically with thiol groups (-SH) and are often used to modify and label thiol-containing biomolecules, such as proteins or peptides. By forming stable covalent bonds, they can impart fluorescence, colorimetric or other functionalities to target molecules. They are widely used in the fields of bioimaging, protein analysis and drug development.
