Pulmonary Fibrosis Modeling

Pulmonary fibrosis is a severe lung disease characterized by excessive proliferation of the pulmonary interstitium and collagen deposition. Commonly used models, such as intratracheal instillation of bleomycin, simulate key processes including inflammation initiation and extracellular matrix accumulation. These models are widely applied in in vivo efficacy studies of anti-fibrotic therapies.
