Sphinganine-1-phosphate (d17:0)
Sphinganine-1-phosphate (d17:0)
T37952474923-29-0
Sphinganine-1-phosphate (d17:0) is a sphingolipid analog of sphinganine-1-phosphate (d18:0) and sphingosine-1-phosphate (d18:1) that has a 17-carbon base. Sphinganine-1-phosphate (d17:0) levels are lower in surgical and cadaver trabecular meshwork samples isolated from patients with primary open angle glaucoma compared with control samples.

Sphinganine 1-phosphate
Sphinganine-1-phosphate (d18:0), D-erythro-Dihydrosphingosine 1-phosphate
T3940119794-97-9
Sphinganine 1-phosphate is an intermediate in the sphingolipid metabolic pathway and is structurally similar to sphingosine. It has a protective effect on the kidney and liver through activation of the S1P1 receptor in mice. D-erythro-Dihydrosphingosine 1-phosphate acts as an agonist for S1P4 in Homo sapiens and may activate GPR63 (G protein-coupled receptor), mainly used in the study of Fabry disease, Gaucher disease, Krabbe disease and Leukodystrophy.

Sphinganine (d20:0)
Sphinganine (d20:0)
T3578124006-62-0
Sphinganine (d20:0) is a natural isomer of dihydro-D-erythro-sphinganine (sphinganine (d18:0); that is a precursor of ceramide and sphingosine as well as a substrate for sphingosine kinases, which generate sphingosine-1-phosphate (d18:1) . In S. cerevisiae, the amount of sphinganine (d20:0) increases 10.8-fold in response to heat stress, indicating it is involved in heat stress adaptation. Sphinganine levels increase significantly in response to certain mycotoxins, including fumonisins as well as in some cancers. Sphinganine can block protein kinase C activation in some cases but not others.

A6770
T368331331754-16-5
A6770 is an inhibitor of sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P) lyase.1It induces accumulation of [3H]sphinganine-1-phosphate ([3H]dhS1P), an S1P lyase substrate, in IT-79MTNC3 cells that endogenously express high levels of S1P lyase (EC50= <0.01 μM), an effect that is reduced in the presence of vitamin B6(EC50= <100 μM). 1.Ohtoyo, M., Tamura, M., Machinaga, N., et al.Scintillation proximity assay to detect the changes in cellular dihydrosphingosine 1-phosphate levelsLipids51(10)1207-1216(2016)
