NG,NG-dimethyl-L-Arginine dihydrochloride
T21546220805-22-1
NG,NG-dimethyl-L-Arginine dihydrochloride is an endogenous nitric oxide synthase inhibitor. Nitric oxide (NO) that is synthesised from L-arginine contributes to the regulation of blood pressure and to host defence[1].

SDMA (p-hydroxyazobenzene-p′-sulfonate)
Symmetric dimethylarginine (p-hydroxyazobenzene-p′-sulfonate), NG,NG'-Dimethyl-L-arginine (p-hydroxyazobenzene-p′-sulfonate)
T2035591266235-58-8
SDMA p-Hydroxyazobenzene-p′-sulfonate is the p-hydroxyazobenzene-p′-sulfonate form of SDMA. It acts as an inhibitor of endogenous nitric oxide synthase (NO synthase) and serves as an activator of NF-κB, enhancing the expression of IL-6 and TNF-α. This compound remains stable in serum and plasma, making it a potential biomarker for liver and kidney dysfunction.

ADMA-d6
T709901313730-20-9
NG,NG-dimethyl-L-arginine-d6 (ADMA-d6) (hydrochloride) is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of NG,NG-dimethyl-L-arginine by GC- or LC-MS. ADMA is an endogenous inhibitor of nitric oxide synthase (NOS). It is formed from arginine by protein arginine methyltransferases (PRMTs) and degraded by dimethylarginine dimethylaminohydrolases (DDAHs) and alanine-glyoxylate aminotransferase 2 (AGXT2). ADMA levels are increased concomitant with an increase in blood pressure in Dahl salt-sensitive rats fed a high-salt diet. ADMA levels are increased in the plasma in a variety of endothelial dysfunction-related diseases, including hypertension, congestive heart failure, and end-stage renal disease.
