Oxodipine
T6812390729-41-2In house
Oxodipine, a dihydropyridine-type calcium antagonist, inhibited KCl-induced aortic contraction in rabbits and reduced cardiac force in less potent rat ventricular test-paper contractions. In rat cultured neonatal ventricular myocytes, Oxodipine reduced L-type Ca currents (I) with an IC of 0.24 μM, and against T-type Ca currents (I) with an IC of 0.41 μM. Oxodipine causes constipation in mice and gingival hyperplasia in dogs.

Thrombin Receptor Agonist Peptide (trifluoroacetate salt)
T36777
Thrombin receptor agonist peptide (TRAP-14) is a 14-amino acid peptide agonist of the α-thrombin receptor. It induces aggregation of washed platelets as well as platelets in citrated and hirudin plasma. TRAP-14 (100 μM) increases the cytosolic calcium concentration in isolated guinea pig pulmonary smooth muscle cells 5-fold over baseline. It increases pulmonary arterial pressure in isolated guinea pig lung when used at a concentration of 1 μM, which is comparable to the effect induced by 10 nM α-thrombin. TRAP-14 also induces contraction of isolated rat aortic rings and increases endothelin-1 (ET-1) levels in a dose-dependent manner, an effect that is reversed by the ETA antagonist BQ-123 and the nitric oxide synthase (NOS) inhibitor L-NNA .

(±)11-HDHA
T3550587018-59-5
(±)11-HDHA is an autoxidation product of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) in vitro. It is also produced from incubations of DHA in rat liver, brain, and intestinal microsomes. DHA is metabolized to 11(S)-HDHA by human platelets and canine retina. In addition to 11(S)-HDHA, 14(S)-HDHA is also produced by platelets. 11(S)-HDHA was shown to be an inhibitor of U-46619-induced human platelet aggregation and rabbit and rat aortic smooth muscle contraction with IC50 values of about 50, 4.7, and 7.5 μM, respectively. (±)11-HDHA is a potential marker of oxidative stress in brain and retina where DHA is an abundant polyunsaturated fatty acid.

2,3-dinor-8-iso Prostaglandin F1α
2,3-dinor-5,6-dihydro-15-F2t-Isoprostane, 2,3-dinor-5,6-dihydro-15-F2t-IsoP, 2,3-dinor-8-iso PGF1α, 2,3-dinor-iPF1α-III
T83662221664-04-6
2,3-Dinor-8-iso Prostaglandin F1α (2,3-dinor-8-iso PGF1α), an isoprostane and active metabolite of arachidonic acid deriving its formation from non-enzymatic free radical peroxidation, acts as an active metabolite of the platelet aggregation inhibitor 8-iso PGF2α. This compound exhibits vasoconstrictive properties in isolated porcine retinal and brain microvessels with EC50 values of 12.8 and 18.5 nM, respectively, yet it does not cause contraction in isolated rat aortic rings at a concentration of 31 µM. Further, at a concentration of 1 µM, it raises thromboxane B2 (TXB2) levels in isolated porcine brain slices, an effect reversible by thromboxane A synthase inhibitor CGS 12970, voltage-gated calcium channel inhibitor SKF 96365, or the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR) antagonist α-conotoxin.

(±)17-HDHA
T3660190780-52-2
(±)17-HDHA is an autoxidation product of docosahexaenoic acid in vitro. It is also produced from incubations of DHA in rat liver, brain, and intestinal microsomes. 17(S)-HDHA could be produced by enzymatic oxidation of DHA using soybean lipoxygenase (LO) and is the putative product of mammalian 15-LOs. 17(S)-HDHA was shown to be an inhibitor of U-46619 -induced rabbit and rat aortic smooth muscle contraction with IC50 values of 4.9 and 7.2 μM, respectively. (±)17-HDHA is a potential marker of oxidative stress in brain and retina where DHA is an abundant polyunsaturated fatty acid.
