SCP1-IN-1 (compound SH T-62) is a potent and selective covalent inhibitor of SCP1, promoting REST degradation and reducing transcriptional activity. In certain glioblastoma cells, elevated REST protein levels drive tumor growth. SCP1-IN-1 holds potential for researching glioblastoma driven by REST transcription activity [1].

SCP1-IN-2 is a potent, selective, and metric inhibitor of SCP1. SCP1-IN-2 is able to induce REST degradation and inhibit its transcriptional activity. High levels of REST protein induce tumor growth in some glioblastoma cells. sCP1-IN-2 has the potential to perform studies of glioblastomas in which REST transcriptional activity drives growth.

GR-28 is an inhibitor of the small C-terminal domain phosphatase 1 (SCP1). It suppresses the transcriptional activity of the repressor element 1-silencing transcription factor (REST) and inhibits the proliferation of glioblastoma cells, with IC50 values of 2.9 and 10.1 µM for cell lines A172 and T98G, respectively.
