1-monolaurin

Monolaurin is a surfactant and emulsifer found in coconut oil. It inhibitis growth of Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Gardnerella, Candida, and Haemophilus, and decreases production of pro-inflammatory cytokines.

Glyceryl 1-monooctanoate-d15 is the deuterium-labeled form of Glyceryl 1-monooctanoate. As a derivative of monolaurin, Glyceryl 1-monooctanoate exhibits broad-spectrum antimicrobial properties. It inhibits the growth of pathogenic yeasts [Candida albicans and Candida parapsilosis], as well as Gram-positive bacteria [Staphylococcus aureus] and Gram-negative bacteria [Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae].
