Bioluminescence imaging

Bioluminescence imaging is a technology that uses the luminescence reaction in organisms to achieve visual detection of specific molecules or cell activities, mainly including luminescence mediated by luciferase and luminescence reaction under the action of specific proteases. Luciferase catalyzes chemical reactions in the presence of substrates to produce light signals, which are often used to mark gene expression, protein interactions and monitor cell viability. Protease-based bioluminescence can be used to detect enzyme activity and track biological processes related to proteases.
