Microbial dyes

Microbial dyes are a class of dyes designed specifically for marking, identifying and studying bacteria and other microorganisms. These dyes specifically bind to the cell wall or internal components of microorganisms, allowing microorganisms to be visualized and distinguished in microscopic observation or other detection methods, including classic techniques such as Gram staining and acid-fast staining, as well as modern methods such as fluorescent dye labeling. They not only help reveal the morphology and structure of microorganisms, but also play a key role in identifying pathogens and understanding the composition and function of microbial communities.
