| In vitro | Method: A cell proliferation assay was performed using the SK-MEL-28 cell line. Cells were treated with Isoangustone A at concentrations of 10 μM and 20 μM for 48 and 72 hours to evaluate its effect on cell proliferation. Result: Isoangustone A significantly inhibited the proliferation of SK-MEL-28 cells in a dose- and time-dependent manner. [1] |
| In vivo | Method: A SK-MEL-28 xenograft tumor model was established using male Balb/c nude (nu/nu) mice. Mice were administered Isoangustone A via daily intraperitoneal injection at doses of 2 or 10 mg/kg for 35 consecutive days to evaluate its antitumor effects. Result: Isoangustone A significantly reduced tumor weight compared to the control group. It also markedly decreased the expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) and reduced the phosphorylation levels of Akt. [1] |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 μL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
