| In vivo | METHODS: To study the effect of Dasatinib on diabetic cardiomyopathy, Dasatinib (5 mg/kg in 10% DMSO + 90% PEG-300) was administered by gavage to BKS.Cg-+Leprdb/+Leprdb/OlaHsd (db/db) mice once a week for four weeks. RESULTS: Dasatinib counteracted obesity in the heart and bone marrow as well as cardiac fibrosis. [2] METHODS: To test the in vivo effects of treatment with ALW-II-41-27 (an EPHA2 inhibitor) and/or cetuximab, cetuximab (25 mg/kg in 10% 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone + 90% PEG 300 twice weekly) and ALW-II-41-27 (30 mg/kg/day) were injected intraperitoneally into balb/c athymic (nu+/nu+) mice bearing human colorectal adenocarcinoma tumor HCT15 for six weeks. Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 μL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
