| In vitro | Ropinirole has a 10- to 20-fold higher binding affinity for D3 receptors than for D2 and D4 receptors. As an orally potent D3/D2 receptor agonist, Ropinirole has a Ki value of 29 nM for the D2 receptor and has pEC50s of 7.4, 8.4, and 6.8 for the hD2, hD3, and hD4 receptors, respectively, with no affinity for the D1 receptor. [1] Ropinirole showed low activity at α2-adrenergic receptors and 5-HT2 receptors, but no activity at 5-HT1 receptors, benzodiazepine receptors, γ-aminobutyric acid receptors, and α1 and β-adrenergic receptors. Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 μL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
