Description
PHPS1 is an inhibitor of Shp2. PHPS1 efficiently inhibits activation of Erk1/2 by the leukemia-associated Shp2 mutant, Shp2-E76K, and blocks the anchorage-independent growth of a variety of human tumor cell lines.

In vitro
PHPS1 (30 μM; 6 days) inhibits human tumor cell proliferation, and at concentrations of 5-20 μM (5-360 minutes), it inhibits Erk1/2 phosphorylation in a dose-dependent manner without affecting Akt and Stat3 phosphorylation[1].
In vivo
PHPS1 (3 mg/kg; i.p. injection; administered daily during the final week of a high-fat diet) reduces susceptibility to atherosclerosis in Ldlr-/- mice[2].

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSOTargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 μL PEG300TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
