Description
CLEFMA has anti-proliferative activity. CLEFMA inhibits tumor growth associated with NF-κB-regulated anti-inflammatory and anti-metastatic effects.
Targets&IC50
A549 cells:8.9 μM, H441 cells:6.4 μM
In vitro
CLEFMA induces autophagic death in H441 cells[1]. CLEFMA inhibits the viability of H441 and A549 cells, with IC50s of 6.4 and 8.9 μM, respectively[2]. CLEFMA induces apoptosis and reduces the DNA-binding activity of NF-κB in H441 cells in a dose-dependent manner[2].
In vivo
Daily intraperitoneal injection of 0.2-0.4 mg/kg CLEFMA for 4 weeks, CLEFMA inhibits tumor growth and FDG uptake in tumor tissue in a xenograft mouse model [2]. In addition, CLEFMA downregulates the expression of anti-apoptotic markers cIAP1, Bcl-xL, Bcl-2, and survivin, and induces the cleavage and expression of the pro-apoptotic protein BID [2].

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSOTargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 μL PEG300TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
