Description
Rasarfin inhibits Ras and ARF6.
In vitro
Rasarfin resulted in a dose-dependent reduction in cell growth in MDA-MB-231 cells.After 48 and 72?h of treatment, Rasarfin modestly decreased in a dose-dependent manner the metabolic activity of cancer cells compared to cells treated with DMSO.However, compared to Doxorubicin which potently killed cells, cell viability was not affected by Rasarfin treatment. Rasarfin inhibited proliferation of A549 lung cancer cells, which have increased Ras and EGFR activity52. Similar to the anti-proliferative effect on MDA-MB-231 cells, A549 cell growth inhibition at 5 and 10?μM of Rasarfin,more important cell viability effects of Rasarfin on A549 cells than MDA-MB-231 cells at 10?μM of Rasarfin treatment[1].

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSOTargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 μL PEG300TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
