Pluripotin (SC1) (SC1), which keep embryonic stem cell (ESC) self-renewal, is a dual inhibitor of extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1 (ERK1, MAPK3) and RasGAP.

In vitro
Pluripotin is a dual function small molecule inhibitor of both ERK1 and RasGAP and that simultaneous inhibition of both protein activities is required and sufficient for Pluripotin's effects on mES cells. Pluripotin activates Ras by inhibition of RasGAP function[1]. Pluripotin improved the derivation efficiency and pluripotency of ES cells from C57BL/6. Three types of pluripotent stem cells (fES, ntES, and iPS cells) of the C57BL/6 background could generate full-term pups with high efficiency when cultured with Pluripotin[1].

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSOTargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 μL PEG300TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
