Description
Molindone ((±)-Molindone) is a therapeutic antipsychotic used to treat schizophrenia by blocking the action of dopamine in the brain. molindone is often used in combination with serotonin in a dose-dependent manner to increase errors and decrease response rates.
In vivo
Molindone (1 to 10 mg/kg ; subcutaneous injection ; rat) produced a reduction in striatal p-tyramine, an increase in m-tyramine and an increase in dopamine turnover.[5]
Molindone (100 mg/kg ; subcutaneous injection ; rat) the effects on both tyramines and on dopamine metabolism were reversed. These results can be interpreted as molindone acting as a partial agonist.[5]
The concentrations of hypothalamic p- and m-octopamine were increased by the higher doses of molindone (20 to 100 mg/kg ; subcutaneous injection ; rat) employed while lower doses produced no significant effects.[5]

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
