| Description | Lotilaner is an anthelmintic agent and a non-competitive GABA_A receptor antagonist with an IC₅₀ value of 23.84 nM for Drosophila GABA receptors. Lotilaner selectively acts on the nervous system of invertebrates to exert its anthelmintic effect and exhibits no significant affinity for mammalian GABA_A receptors. |

| In vitro | Methods: African clawed frog oocytes were injected with human (Hsa) and canine (Clu) GABAA receptor subunit cRNA. Lotilaner (0, 30, 100, 300 nM and 1, 3, 10, 30 μM) was added at each concentration for 60 seconds pre-incubation, followed by co-application with GABA at EC10 concentration for 10 seconds. Bipolar voltage-clamp recordings measured currents, and the half-maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) was calculated. Results: For all 11 GABARs tested, Lotilaner exhibited IC50 values >30 μM, indicating negligible inhibition. [1] |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 μL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
