Binding of a ligand induces EGFR protein homo- or heterodimerization, the subsequent tyrosine autophosphorylation and initiates various down stream pathways (MAPK, PI3K/PKB and STAT). Loaded Cetuximab on ProA Biosensor, can bind Human EGFR protein, His Tag with an affinity constant of 5.81nM as determined in BLI assay (Routinely tested).
