Description
WS3, a β cell proliferation inducer, regulates Erb3 binding protein-1 (EBP1) and the IκB kinase pathway.

In vivo
In the mouse β-cell line R7T1, WS3 induces cell proliferation with an EC50 of 0.074 μM. Additionally, WS3 reversibly induces cell proliferation in primary embryonic and adult retinal pigment epithelial cells.
Cell Research
R7T1 cells are growth-arrested by removal of doxycycline for 2 days and plated into 384-well plates at a density of 3,000 cells/well in growth medium. Β cell proliferation is assessed using CellTiter Glo after 4 days. Fold increase in cell number is calculated by normalizing compound-treated wells to the median of DMSO-treated wells. (Only for Reference)

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSOTargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 μL PEG300TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
