| In vitro | Norwogonin (0.4, 2, 10, and 50 μg/mL; 48 hours) inhibits Enterovirus 71 (EV71) replication in Vero cells and prevents EV71-induced cytotoxicity. At 50 μg/mL for 48 hours, norwogonin significantly reduces viral VP2 protein expression and markedly decreases the expression of the EV71 NCR gene. |
