Description
Diphenmanil methylsulfate (Diphemanil mesylate), a quaternary ammonium anticholinergic, binds muscarinic acetylcholine receptors and thus decreases secretory excretion of stomach acids, sweat, and saliva.
In vitro
Pharmacokinetic studies indicate that Diphemanil Methylsulphate is slowly absorbed, with a peak time (tmax) of 2-4 hours and an average half-life of 8.35 hours. Within 48 hours, 0.6%-7.4% of the administered dose is recovered in the urine. The compound exhibits poor gastrointestinal absorption, with bioavailability ranging from 15% to 25%.
In vivo
Diphemanil Methylsulfate exerts its anticholinergic effects primarily by binding to muscarinic M3 receptors, and it also acts directly on smooth muscle to provide antispasmodic benefits.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
