| In vitro | Dimesna modulated paclitaxel-induced MTP hyperpolymerization, and mesna, an in vivo metabolite of Dimesna, prevented cisplatin-induced MTP inactivation. The renal organic anion transporter proteins OAT1 (KM=636 μM), OAT3 (KM=390 μM) and OAT4 (KM=590 μM) were able to specifically bind Dimesna. |
