In vivo
Carboprost tromethamine is reported to be 84-96% effective in addressing persistent hemorrhage resulting from uterine atony. It significantly contributes to the prevention of postpartum hemorrhage following cesarean sections, effectively improving hypercoagulable blood conditions and ensuring hemodynamic stability [1].
