Description
7,3′,4′-Tri-O-methyleriodictyol (7,3;,4;-Tri-O-methyleriodictyol) is an isolate from the methanolic extract of Pogostemon cablin with antimicrobial, antioxidant, antitumor, and antiprotozoal activities, and it inhibits Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection as well as SOS-inducing activity.
In vitro
7,3′,4′-Tri-O-methyleriodictyol, a methanol extract from Pogostemon cablin, showed an inhibitory effect on the expression of the umu gene of the SOS response in Salmonella typhimurium TA1535/pSK1002 in response to the mutagen 2-(2-furanyl)-3-(5-nitro-2-furanyl) acrylamide (furanyl furanamide), showing a weak inhibitory effect (17%) at a concentration of 0.6 μmol/mL and inhibited the SOS-inducing activity of Trp-P-1 by 63% at a concentration of 0.3 μmol/mL. Stock Solution Preparation:

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSOTargetMol | reagent to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSOTargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 μL PEG300TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
