| In vitro | 6-O-Caffeoylarbutin (Robustaside B) decreased the amount of TBARS produced during lipid peroxidation induced by the Fe2+/ascorbate system in rat liver mitochondria in vitro in a concentration-dependent manner. Varying concentrations of robustaside B (0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, and 1 mM) significantly reduced the amount of TBARS generated by 85.3, 86.4, 86.0, 86.1, 86.0, 86.0, and 86.0%, respectively [1]. |
