Description	N,N-Dimethylacetamide (DMAc) is a drug excipient with blood-brain barrier permeability and anti-inflammatory activity, acting through inhibition of the NF-κB signaling pathway. N,N-Dimethylacetamide can reduce endotoxin-induced inflammatory responses in vivo.
In vitro	Methods: RAW 264.7 cells were treated with N,N-Dimethylacetamide (0-1000μM), and cell viability was determined by MTT assay. Results: N,N-Dimethylacetamide inhibited the bactericidal activity of macrophages in RAW 264.7 cells.[1]
In vivo	Methods: N,N-Dimethylacetamide (0.2, 0.39, 0.78, 1.56, 3.1 mg/kg, intraperitoneal injection) was used to treat LPS-induced C57BL/6 embryonic day (E) 15.5 mice. Results: N,N-Dimethylacetamide prevented LPS-triggered premature birth in C57BL/6 embryonic day (E) 15.5 mice in a concentration-dependent manner.[1]

Stock Solution Preparation:

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO TargetMol | reagent to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO TargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 µL PEG300 and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 µL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 µL Saline,PBS or ddH₂O TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
