Description
5-HT2 antagonist 1 is a potent 5-HT2 receptor antagonist with weak α1 adrenoceptor blocking activity.
In vitro
5-HT2 antagonist 1 displays dose-dependent inhibition of serotonin (erotonin)-induced contraction in guinea pig mesenteric artery, exhibiting 45%, 88%, and 93% inhibition at concentrations of 10 nM, 100 nM, and 1000 nM, respectively. Conversely, it demonstrates minimal inhibition of norepinephrine-induced contraction in guinea pig aorta, with 1% and 10% inhibition at 10 nM and 100 nM, respectively[1].

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSOTargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 μL PEG300TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2OTargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
