| In vivo | METHODS: The effect of Pyrithioxin dihydrochloride on children with learning disabilities was tested under strict double-blind conditions in 67 students in a class with learning disabilities aged 11 to 16 years who received either Pyrithioxin dihydrochloride (300 mg, 24 hours) or placebo for 6 months. Effects on cognitive function. RESULTS:Pyrithioxin dihydrochloride had different effects on different subjects. None of the 22 parameters showed a statistically significant treatment effect in terms of mean performance. Variability was significantly higher in the Pyrithioxin dihydrochloride group (F = 1.85-2.33, P less than 0.05 and less than 0.02, respectively). [1] |
