Description PAPA NONOate is a pH-regulated NO donor.PAPA NONOate has potential antitumor activity and can be used to study diabetic wound healing disorders.
In vitro Incubation with PAPA NONOate (50 μM) for 12 hours significantly reduced the increase in caspase-3-like activity induced by caspase-3 overexpression by 70%[1].
In vivo In phosphate-buffered saline, treatment of rat dorsal skin wounds with 100 μM PAPA NONOate resulted in improved wound healing rates in the treated group[2].
