Methods: A rapid, simple, and accurate method for the determination of Momordicoside A was established using solid phase extraction (SPE) followed by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
Results: Samples were processed by SPE on carboplatin cartridges (3 mL/250 mg) and then determined by HPLC on a C18 column (4.6 mm id x 250 mm, 5 μm) with a mobile phase of V(acetonitrile):V(50 mmol/L potassium dihydrogen phosphate buffer) = 25:20:60 (0.8 mL/min) and UV detection. The calibration curve was linear in the range of 10 mg/L to 1,000 mg/L (r2 = 0.9992). [2]

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO TargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 μL PEG300 and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH₂O TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
