Description	MC4171 is a selective KAT8 inhibitor with antiproliferative activity and can be used to study cancer.
Targets & IC50	U-937 cells:51.7 ± 9.5 μM, H1299 cells:41.6 ± 6.8 μM, HCT116 cells:46.6 ± 11.5μM, HT29 cells:54.0 ± 10.9 μM, A549 cells:33.0 ± 5.7 μM
In vitro	KAT8 inhibitory activity and selectivity of MC4171, yielding an IC50 value of 8.2 μM. [1] Exposed each cell line for 72 h to increasing doses (10, 25, 50, 100 μM) of MC4171 and measured cell viability through the MTT-based colorimetric assay. [1] HT29 IC50=54.0 ± 10.9 μM; HCT116 IC50=46.6 ± 11.5μM; H1299 IC50=41.6 ± 6.8 μM; A549 IC50=33.0 ± 5.7 μM; U937 IC50=51.7 ± 9.5 μM [1]

Stock Solution Preparation:

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO TargetMol | reagent to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO TargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 µL PEG300 and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 µL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 µL Saline,PBS or ddH₂O TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
