| Description | Isoquinoline, 5-iodo- is a potent and selective inhibitor of SARM1(IC50 = 75 nM) by preventing axonal degeneration and by allowing functional recovery of a metastable pool of damaged, but viable, axons. |
| Targets&IC50 | CADPR increase:2.8 μM, SARM1:75 nM |
| In vitro | Treatment with the isoquinoline DSRM-3716produced dose-dependent inhibition of cADPR increase (IC50 = 2.8 μM) and substantial preservation of NAD+ in these cultures in a manner consistent with engagement and inhibition of SARM1 enzymatic NADase activity inside the cells. DSRM-3716prevented NfL release from severed axons in a dose-dependent manner[1]. |

Dissolve 2 mg of the compound in 100 μL DMSO
to obtain a stock solution at a concentration of 20 mg/mL . If the required concentration exceeds the compound's known solubility, please contact us for technical support before proceeding.
1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO
stock solution to 400 μL PEG300
and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.
2) Add 50 μL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.
3) Add 450 μL Saline,PBS or ddH2O
and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
