Description	Antiviral agent 34 is a potent, orally active, broad-spectrum small-molecule inhibitor against influenza A/B viruses, targeting the core site of influenza virus RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp) with an EC₅₀ of 0.8 nM against H1N1. Antiviral agent 34 can be used for studying the mechanisms of influenza virus infection and for drug development.
Targets & IC50	influenza B:0.8 nM (EC50), influenza A (EC50):0.8 nM
In vitro	Methods: MDCK cells infected with H1N1 were treated with Antiviral agent 34 (2–125 nM) for 24 hours, followed by Western blot analysis to detect H1N1 nucleocapsid protein. Results: Antiviral agent 34 reduced H1N1 nucleocapsid protein (NP) levels in a concentration-dependent manner. [1]
In vivo	Methods: BALB/c mice were infected with a lethal dose of H1N1 virus, followed by oral administration of Antiviral agent 34 (100 mg/kg/day) via gavage twice daily for 7 consecutive days. Results: Antiviral agent 34 provided approximately 50% protection in infected mice. [1]

Preparation of the In Vivo Formulation:

1) Add 100 μL of the DMSO TargetMol | reagent stock solution to 400 µL PEG300 and mix thoroughly until the solution becomes clear.

2) Add 50 µL Tween 80 and mix well until fully clarified.

3) Add 450 µL Saline,PBS or ddH₂O TargetMol | reagent and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
