| Description | Anti-inflammatory agent 51 is an amide/sulfonamide derivative with anti-inflammatory and potentially anti-tumor activity and inhibition of NF-κB activation, which can be used to study acute lung injury and ulcerative colitis. |
| Targets&IC50 | TNF-α:4.34 μM (J774A.1 cells), IL-6:0.61 μM (J774A.1 cells) |
| In vitro | Anti-inflammatory agent 51 (compound 11d) effectively reduces the release of IL-6 (IC50 value of 0.61 μM) and TNF-α (IC50 of 4.34 μM), decreases cytokine mRNA levels in J774A.1 cells, restores IκBα, and inhibits the nuclear translocation of phosphorylated p65 [1]. |
| In vivo | Anti-inflammatory agent 51 (compound 11d) mitigates lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced acute lung injury (ALI) and ameliorates dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced ulcerative colitis in mice [1]. |
